Brian Armstrong is an entrepreneur and managing executive with 20 years of experience leading successful companies in lean manufacturing and commercial real-estate. He is the founder of one of Canada’s largest wholesale lean manufacturing facilities and successfully led the company to an acquisition by a publicly-traded corporation. His leadership at the company drove 30% year over year growth over a 10-year period. He’s been working in the cannabis sector since 2014 and founded Vinzan International in 2018.

Mr. Brod was appointed as the MD of Netafim Southeast Asia in January 2018. Prior to this role he was the Netafim APAC CFO since 2014 and before that he acted as the Netafim ANZ CFO since 2009. He has a diverse background acting in different roles and industries which include sales and marketing in Telecommunications, accounting in automotive, Financial planning & Analysis in the power industry, Strategic pricing in Telecommunication and finance & management in the Agriculture industry.

Bridget is the co-founder of Marigold Marketing & PR, a communications strategist, and brand expert. She has extensive experience in delivering integrated communications, marketing, and brand programs that achieve results and resonate in the cannabis, media and social good sectors. From 2000 to 2014, Bridget was the Executive Director of CBC communications, marketing, and brand for CBC Services. During her tenure, CBC was ranked as one of Canada’s most influential brands by Ipsos. Before joining CBC, Bridget led the communications teams for the United Way of Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Currently, she is the Chair of the Board for Safetynet Children & Youth Charities in Oakville, ON.
Managing Director - Little Green Pharma
Fleta has spent her career changing people’s lives for the better. Over a 10-year period, Fleta established, grew and sold one of Australia’s largest providers of workplace health services positively changing the health behaviours of more than 50,000 Australian workers. She has since been involved in several start-ups in the health improvement space including a water treatment technology concept to assist the billions of people worldwide without safe access to clean drinking water.
Fleta is now the Managing Director at Little Green Pharma, the first company in Australia to produce locally grown medicinal cannabis products for patient use. With a degree in exercise and health science, an MBA and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fleta has a vision to continue improving the thousands of patients worldwide who can benefit from cannabinoid therapy.
Founder & President - FemCare Community Health Initiative
Halima Al-Hatimy is a policy entrepreneur, social entrepreneur, consultant and healthcare professional with over a decade of immersive experience in Ontario’s healthcare system. She holds a diploma in practical nursing, Bachelor’s of Health Administration and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society for scholastic excellence. Currently, Halima is pursuing a Master’s of Health Administration in Home and Community Care at Ryerson University and a graduate teaching certificate.
After initiating city-wide discourse on gender-equity in Hamilton, ON, which prompted a written statement from the mayor, Halima founded FemCare. FemCare was established with a goal to improve menstrual health and wellness for all who menstruate through advocacy, education and community health promotion.
Halima’s passion for cannabis is rooted in her experience as a medical cannabis user and nurtured by her extensive background as a healthcare professional. Through FemCare, she intends to continue advocating for evidence-based cannabis and women’s health policies.
Clinical Professor - Scientific program of Cannabinoid Medicine, University of Panama
Dr. Sandra Carrillo is a Medical Doctor, specialized in Cannabinoids Based Medicine. Currently she is the Clinical Professor in charge of the Scientific program of Cannabinoid Medicine, University of Panama. Sandra Carrillo graduated 1997 from the University of Health Sciences CES, Medellín, Colombia. She was an ER doctor for multiple hospitals.
She completed her Certification in Medical Cannabis at Oaksterdam University California. She was certified as an Expert Doctor in Medical Cannabis by the Pharmacology University of Puerto Rico. Sandra further studied with top Medical Professionals in Israel.
In August 2019, Sandra completed the Spectrum Academy Program. Sandra holds a masters degree in health services management. Sandra is well known in Panama as the main doctor advocating for medical cannabis legalization on behalf of the patients. She is an active volunteer for the Luces Foundation, helping children with epilepsy in Panama. In 2014, she co-founded the Banco De Alimentos Panama, the first and only food bank in Panama.
Dr. Carrillo’s main goals are to educate physicians about the benefits of Cannabis Medicine and to conduct research to create better medical grade products to improve quality of life to patients. She has spoken internationally in many countries including Brazil, USA, Colombia, Mexico etc.

Joe Rogoway is the CEO and Managing Attorney for Rogoway Law Group. Widely recognized as a thought-leader in the cannabis industry, Joe has dedicated his academic and professional career to cannabis law reform, regulation, and the representation of businesses. As a trial attorney, Joe conducted dozens of jury, bench, and administrative trials. As a political advocate, Joe was the author and co-proponent of several state ballot initiatives seeking to end cannabis prohibition in California. Today, Joe leads the Firm dedicated to assisting businesses with their corporate, compliance, tax and litigation needs.
