[WATCH] SiGMA Group announces Medical Cannabiz World Asia

Summit in Bangkok to take place 22nd/23rd June, 2020

SiGMA Group has announced another new show focussed on the Asia region, with the Medical Cannabiz World Asia set to take place in June 2020 at the Centara Grand hotel in Bangkok.
Following the inaugural Medical Cannabiz World in Malta in November 2019, the event in Thailand next year will seek to bring together the world of medical cannabis production and distribution, with opportunities in both East and West igniting this new high-growth sector.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of SiGMA Group signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Thailand’s prestigious Rangsit University, which will help facilitate SiGMA Group’s expansion in Asia.
The Asia Cannabis Report projects that the continent’s medical cannabis market is likely to be worth well over $5 billion by 2024 if key markets such as Thailand continue their path to long-term expansion with reform and legislative change.
Eman Pulis, SiGMA Group founder & CEO, commented, “There’s so much opportunity for the medicinal cannabis sector around the globe at the moment.   As SiGMA Group expands operations from Europe to the East with both the SiGMA iGaming conference and the AIBC Summit, it makes sense to exploit the growing sector for medical cannabis businesses in the region also.”

About Medical Cannabiz World:
The inaugural edition of Medical Cannabiz World opens doors in Malta this November to the medicinal cannabis business, recently unlocked by the Maltese government’s commitment to legislation supporting this high growth sector.  In the same way that success for SIGMA – World’s Igaming Village and the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit was linked to Malta’s visionary stance on regulating these industries, the Medical Cannabiz World event will focus on the regulatory benefits for businesses setting up in Malta, attracting investors, medical researchers, policy makers and entrepreneurs looking to forge exciting new opportunities.
Over 2,000 delegates will be networking, brokering deals, and discussing the important issues defining the sector, including legislation, education, investment, and technology.
Taking place 4th to 5th November 2019, this event will be where all the best deals are made. The show is taking place during the MALTA WEEK, featuring also the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit between the 6-8th November.
