SiGMA Group strikes gold with Medical Cannabiz World

Delegates praise best organised medical cannabis expo

Malta’s inaugural Medical Cannabiz World Summit wrapped up yesterday with praise coming from all quarters of the global audience for the quality of the event’s content and the business-oriented mix of brands and industries in attendance.
The show was successful in its remit as an opportunity to bring together complementary business sectors helping to drive forward the medical cannabis sector, including legislators from North America and Asia, production businesses, legal firms, payment systems, and logistics / distribution providers. As part of Malta Week, with the AIBC Summit Malta taking place in the same venue on 7th and 8th November, many attendees are keen to harness the power of emerging technologies such as DLT and AI to provide unique solutions to the medicinal cannabis industry.

By far the most subscribed activities at this first Medical Cannabiz World Summit were the keynotes and panel debates being held in the conference room and the two workshops, where delegates were eager to hear from a top line-up of qualified speakers and panel guests. Subjects ranged from regulation in different territories around the world to patient charters to ensure best practice in healthcare when prescribing medical cannabis.

SiGMA Group is now taking the success of the expo forward into 2020, with the announcement made during this expo that the next Medical Cannabiz World Summit will take place in South East Asia, June 2020. The event will be closely linked to SiGMA Group’s sister show – AIBC Summit – bringing blockchain and medical cannabis together, as well as bridging continents between east and west.
